Our first ever Concept Single has finally arrived!

“The Telling of the Tower” is the first half of an epic love story that crosses the vast expanse of time and space. Drawn to each other, a being from another world and a fierce samurai impel a tale of passion, tragedy and renewal. Our story begins at the base of a tower connecting both worlds in feudal Japan. In a violent battle between one another, they both discover that what they truly desire is each other.

Sometimes…love is without reason.

Seduce your mind in story. Hear the clanging of steel, the roaring fires – taste the sulfur, the sweat – feel the caress of a flower, the brush of a feather – watch as the sun sinks into sand, stretching out smoldering arms for grip…

So it has finally happened – we recorded and mastered our first demo cd “The Telling of the Tower”. We posted the tracks on the MEDIA page for all of you to preview. Then next week we will have them all printed, hard copied and packaged all nice and pretty for you guys. Mind you, this is the FIRST HALF of the short story that will also be appearing on the forth coming “Arrow – ACT I” album release. So get a little taste of the future. See you soon!

We’ll be posting some information in the next day about an environmental awareness rally we will be playing at Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis this Saturday, June 26th. It will be in the morning around 10:30am before some guest speakers – so take a nice cruise around the lakes and stop by to say hi! More TBA.

MISSION: Stock STEP (Saint Louis Park Emergency Program) during the time of year when food shelves struggle to fill their demand.

Okay, so it is a Tuesday night – what do you normally spend your time on? It’s after work, you put in a grueling day, and you head home only to sit on your couch watching syndicated reruns of Seinfeld as your left eye twitches while the wall clock quickly ticks down to bedtime – which only means the next moment you’re consciousness experiences is GOING TO WORK. What were the best seconds of that time spent at home? You know it was that funky bass line leading in to the commercials – but wouldn’t it be 100 galactic times better to witness the eclectic funk bass of Dan the “Danimal Space Bass” Olmschenk laying it down for you all LIVE? And not just Live, but FREE!? And at THE FINE LINE MUSIC CAFE?!! Wouldn’t you like to remember that this was the night you stepped out of your Earthly routine and took a journey to the end of the galaxy with RISINGSIDE. Let us pass through the Neptonian boundry waters of the Amplified Whales and watch as Tony Portwood sings their song of bliss with his PRS guitar. Then on to the milky way to watch Ryan Worthman demolish asteroid upon asteroid with his titanium drum sticks – creating a wave of rhythmic notes that will echo to the surrounding moons. And finally we will be drawn like a ship to the Sirens of Venus, as a sweet and powerful voice arises from the cloudy depths. This is when each of us will shed a-single-tear…that will crystallize and drop like a diamond to the waiting hand below of Katie Lundberg…
